We really want to thank EDLC so very much for the work and time you put into our case. EDLC really helped a great deal with the very difficult issues at first, and you have been outstanding in dealing with the issues since then. EDLC has been amazing, and I am very grateful. The death of a relative is a difficult time in the best of circumstances, and you have been very helpful in steering us through these murky waters. – Jill
I rarely review services but I could not miss an opportunity to post how fabulous the Elder Law & Disability Center was for our family during my aunt’s illness. My widowed aunt recently passed away in Washington, DC after having suffered many years with dementia and a variety of physical ailments. My mother and I (my aunt’s primary caregivers) both live in other states. The EDLC was recommended to us by a staff member of the first assisted living facility my aunt was taken to and hiring them was the best decision we could have made. Not only were the EDLC lawyers caring and sensitive to our situation, but they helped us navigate through all the “red tape” of acquiring appropriate powers of attorney, selling my aunt’s home and selecting the best doctors and facilities for my aunt to live. When one of the facilities suddenly closed, it was the EDLC that researched other homes and found a new, suitable place for us. Their sound and comprehensive legal advice afforded the family a smooth transition when my aunt died and we cannot be more grateful. – Robin L.
My wife and I needed to do some estate planning for our child with autism.
Robert and his staff were generous with their time and listened to our concerns. They were committed to providing us the best possible planning options in line with our financial position. We wanted to work with them because it was apparent that the mission was more important than the commerce.
At the appointment, Robert and his team not only discussed our needs, but took the time to carefully explain the importance of having power of attorney, medical directives and the appropriate trusts regarding the care and financial security of our child.
It took a little time for my wife and I to get the documents back to Robert and set up follow up appointments. It’s important to note that EDLC worked at our pace. They were persistent, but understood our timetable.
We are pleased with the product, the price and the quality of service. We have referred a few friends about our experience. They shared the same positive experience with EDLC and Robert. – Michael
Overall, our experience with Robert Bullock, Abigail Wolf, and ELDC was like eating at a five-star restaurant, i.e. everything we hoped it would be and more. I heartily recommend ELDC to anyone needing legal services related to financial documents for elder or disability care—especially special needs families! – Jonathan
Robert was referred to me by my daughter-in-law who Mr. Bullock helped during a difficult time in her parents’ life. She was more than satisfied with his services. I went on to retain his firm, EDLC, to manage my mother’s financial affairs, long term care planning and ultimately Medicaid eligibility. The services Robert provided and directed exceeded my expectations. The firm was responsive to my needs, always available and gave me peace of mind. Robert was my true advocate. – Martha
