Robert S. Bullock, Esq. is the principal of EDLC.  His practice focuses in the areas of Medicaid planning and eligibility, public benefits, Veteran's benefits, guardianships, conservatorships, disability planning, supplemental needs trusts, legal issue of competency, and Elder Law.  

Mr. Bullock is the Chairperson of the District of Columbia Senior Resource Group and a Director of Shared Horizons, the Vimer Pooled Trust in the District of Columbia .  He recently completed his term as a Commissioner on the Virginia Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Commission.  He served as Chairperson of the Special Education Advisory Committee to the Alexandria, Virginia School Board for two terms and as a member of the Governor's Advisory Committee on Special Education for the Commonwealth of Virginia .  He received the Education and Leadership Award from the Association of Retarded Citizens - Riggs Bank.  

Mr. Bullock is qualified to serve as a guardian ad litem in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.  In December 2004 and December 2006, he was named one of the top ten Elder Law attorneys in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area by the Washingtonian.  In 2007, Mr. Bullock served on the Estates Trusts and Probate committee of the District of Columbia Bar and in May of 2008 he was recognized by that committee for his extraordinary contribution and dedicated leadership in the field of Elder Law.  In 2009, he received an award by the United States Department of Agriculture for his expertise in the field of Elder Law.  

He is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia .  A graduate of Lafayette College , Mr. Bullock received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.  

In Mr. Bullock's spare time he coaches Special Olympics basketball in Fairfax County, Virginia .
